OurPay Payment Processing Partners
Last Updated — September 23, 2026
OurPay acts as merchant of record and reseller for goods and services. Payment providers supply the payment methods used for a Transaction. OurPay's acceptance of a Product category and a provider's ability to process a particular Transaction are separate questions.
All lawful product and service categories are eligible under the Seller Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. We do not apply one provider's category rules to every payment method. The actual payment route must comply with the rules that apply to it.
PayPal
The current PayPal integration collects card and PayPal payments into OurPay's central Business account. PayPal processes authorizations, captures, refunds, and disputes for that payment route. An organization's use of OurPay does not create a separate PayPal merchant account or establish automatic settlement to that organization.
PayPal Transactions are subject to the applicable PayPal User Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy. Any required approval for the actual business and funds flow must be in place before that route is used.
Other payment routes
The methods available for an account or Transaction are shown in its settings and checkout. Depending on the enabled setup, these may include:
- Direct bank payments: a bank or bank-payment service handles the transfer to the receiving account shown in the payment instructions. A direct receipt is not a second balance held by OurPay.
- Crypto payments: payments use the asset, network, and receiving wallet shown at checkout. A crypto receipt is recorded in its own asset; it is not automatically converted into a fiat payout.
- Stripe-backed services: where a service uses Stripe, its applicable services agreement and business rules apply to that service. Stripe Connect terms apply only when a Stripe Connect service is actually used.
Listing a provider or payment method here does not mean it is enabled for every account or that it supports every Transaction. We confirm any required provider approval or payment arrangement for the actual activity. We will not disguise a Product or its recipient to avoid a provider's rules.
Settlement and Seller Payable
OurPay records the amount owed to each Supplier separately from cash received by a payment provider. Supplier fees, refunds, disputes, and recorded settlements affect that payable under the seller agreement.
Automatic seller payouts are not currently enabled. Opening a Supplier Account or saving bank details does not initiate a transfer. Settlement arrangements must be confirmed with OurPay before accepting live payments. See Pricing and Finance for the current fee and balance explanations.
Information used for payments
The provider used for a Transaction receives the payment details and transaction information necessary to process it and handle refunds, disputes, and fraud checks. The information depends on the payment method. OurPay records the associated order and payment status in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
The applicable provider's privacy notice describes its own processing: PayPal privacy notice and Stripe privacy policy.
